What is this?
This page generates a random Call of Cthulhu character, including skills and a small grab bag of character hooks.

Use the previous button to go back to characters you've already made during this visit to the site.

Glad you asked! If you find a character you like, you can bookmark it or forward the link to other people--the page will remember all of the rolls (specifically, in that long string of gibberish after the URL).
Since the URL can get fairly long, I'd recommend using a URL shortener service, like Google's.
If you want to print a character out, try using your browser's advanced print options (or page setup in Firefox) to turn on images and backgrounds and to turn off the print header and footer.
